Yellow Gremlin

I'm sure we are all aware of this site but just in case (and at the request of their community manager, who was really nice in their message) I'm going to make this post here.

Yellow Gremlin is quite the useful database, and most of the recipes I've used from it have been spot on. The game is new so some of the info is bound to be off for a little while but they've been making great progress with updating it.

I was informed as well that they'll never have ads on their site so, to that end I approve. They make no money, and simply enjoy playing the game and sharing the info with the rest of us.

I've also added their search window to the bottom of the widgets on the right.

Additionally they now have this bazaar system thats pretty neat, you can post up what your selling on yourself and your retainer and people can search it and then go find you. Its located here http://ffxiv.yg.com/bazaar?fl&srv=5

Thanks for this. This database looks promising for both recipes and fish locations. Big thumbs up and a bookmark on this one.

anyone knows what Breath does?

like in the Bone Scale Mail (Grey)
there is a breath 4% what is that for?

Breath Damage is my guess. I have seen some drakes and other beasties that could use breath attacks in game.

Thank Borg for the helpful info. This website is great for many things including where to find the stuff we need to farm. I recommend to all that will be farming to use this website to check if people use stuff for crafting before vendoring anything. That is what I have been doing and it is doing to things for me: 1) allowing me to get familiar with the different crftng recipes and what is generally required for each one and 2) has been very helpful with keeping my inventory clear of useless junk. Cudos to this website and everyone should use it!
