| Windows Vista and 7 have a neat feature that allow you put little web pages called Gadgets on your desktop. In Vista, the gadgets can be undocked from the sidebar and moved around (the sidebar needs to stay open however) while in 7 you are allowed to drag and drop them pretty much anywhere and the sidebar is all but invisible.
